I
am looking for information on
the Waldorf's of Wilber,
Western, and Lincoln. William
(my great-grandfather) arrived
in Wilber around 1877 from
Mendota, IL and was followed
shortly by his brother Peter.
They ran a hardware store. I
have marriage certificates
(two actually as his first
wife died at 38 years old)
already for Peter.
William had a son, Frederick
William Waldorf (my
grandfather), in July of 1883.
I know William and his wife
Harriet are buried in Lincoln.
I'm hoping to locate a birth
cert for Frederick Waldorf,
marriage cert for William and
Harriet, Probate records, land
records, etc. Newspaper
articles and photos would be
very welcome of course.
I have other info on the
family, but hope the above is
enough to identify who they
are and what, if any, other
information and documentation
is available on them.
Thanks very much in advance.
Pete Waldorf
