I have in my possession a family Bible that belonged to my great, great grandmother, Clarinda Catherine Thomas, (who dated the Bible 1899) which has a few marriages of people who were from Tobias. Here is the information which I would like to share with anyone who is interested:

Fred R. Thomas and Agnes Brejcha
January 26, 1926 in Tobias, NE.

Harold C. Black and Elionor Reier
Nov. 1946 in Beatrice, NE.

Marguerite Black and Paul Bohrer
at Marysville, KS.

Cecil Wrightsman and Idonna Coppersmith (he's from Beatrice, she's from Gettysburg, SD)
June 8, 1958 at Omaha.

My great grandfather was the Fred Thomas mentioned above, and his family (his sister was Clara and brother was Joseph C., father was John Clay Thomas) moved to Tobias in 1904, according to the Tobias News, dated Feb, 26, 1926.
